Garment Care
Every Cosmology piece is made from delicate, high-quality fibres. To keep the structure, colour and feel of your garments over the years, follow the guidance for the fabric you own.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild, bleach-free detergent. Wash the garment inside out to protect the fibres. Dry flat in the shade to avoid shrinking or fading. Do not tumble dry.
Dry clean professionally, ideally using a more sustainable method. To treat a stain, dab gently with cold water — never rub. Store folded and flat rather than on a hanger, and keep it out of direct sunlight so the silk keeps its natural sheen.
Hand wash in cold water with a detergent made for wool. Do not wring or twist the fabric, as this distorts the weave. Press the water out with a thick towel and dry flat. Store folded rather than hung.
This fabric is sensitive to friction. Professional dry clean only. Store completely flat or folded with layers of acid-free tissue paper so the threads cannot catch. Avoid contact with rough surfaces and jewellery that could pull the weave.
