Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of this website and every order you place through it. Please read them before buying. Nothing here limits the rights Portuguese and EU consumer law gives you.
By using this website or placing an order you accept these terms. We may update them, and the version published when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
Product listings are an invitation to buy, not an offer. Your order is an offer to purchase, and the contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. If an item turns out to be unavailable or a price is clearly wrong, we may decline the order and refund you in full.
All prices are shown in euro and include Portuguese VAT at the applicable rate. Shipping is calculated from your delivery address and shown before you pay. Any other currency displayed on the site is an indicative conversion only — your card is always charged in euro.
Payments are processed by Shopify Payments. The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout and may include debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other methods offered for your country. We never see or store your full card details. We may cancel an order that fails payment verification.
We ship from Portugal to Portugal, Spain and most of Europe. Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days and transit times depend on the destination — see the Shipping page for rates and estimates. Risk passes to you when the parcel is delivered to you or to someone you nominate.
You may cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. Tell us within that period, return the goods, and we will refund you including standard outbound delivery. Full details and how to do it are on the Returns page.
Goods must match their description and be fit for normal use. Under Portuguese law (Decree-Law 84/2021) you have a three-year guarantee of conformity from delivery. If an item is faulty or not as described, contact us and we will repair, replace, reduce the price or refund you as the law provides. This is in addition to your right of withdrawal.
The designs, photography, text and layout of this site are the property of Cosmology. You may not reproduce or reuse them commercially without our written permission.
We are liable for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury or fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly. You may also submit a complaint through the Portuguese electronic complaints book (livroreclamacoes.pt). As a consumer you may refer a dispute to an alternative dispute resolution entity; the register of Portuguese consumer arbitration centres is published at consumidor.gov.pt.
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country and may bring proceedings there.
